Football, One Month, Family Picture…

Updates are coming, but I had to make this “quick” post first.

It is officially fall, which means it is time for FOOTBALL!!  Paul is quite the college football fan, which has rubbed off on me over the past couple years, and now we enjoy watching college football together!  The Razorbacks played Georgia a couple of weeks ago, and we decided that would be the perfect time to introduce Wyatt to the SEC and college football!

Besides college football, we have been keeping busy!  We’ve had some visitors, taken a little day trip, taken lots of walks, and are just enjoying our little guy!
Wyatt turned One Month old on Saturday the 26th!  I can’t believe that he is growing up soo fast!
Here is our picture comparison…

Wyatt had a 2 week check up, but not a One Month.  At 2 weeks he weighed 8lbs 12oz, and was still 21 inches long.  We go back at 8 weeks for another check up and the first round of vaccinations.
Wyatt – At One Month –
–  You are sleeping about 4 hours at a time at night.  You wake up to eat, get your diaper changed and then are right back to sleep.  You don’t have a sleep routine during the day, some days you sleep a lot, others you barely sleep at all!
–  You are eating really good!  You eat anywhere between 2 and 4 1/2 oz at a time.
–  You don’t cry very often, only when you are really hungry or fighting going to sleep.  You just don’t want to miss anything!!
–  You LOVE your boppy pillow and your bouncy seat.  You could just sit in your bouncy seat all day long and just stare at the TV.  You love the movement that you see on it.   You aren’t crazy about your swing, but sometimes it will calm you down and put you to sleep.
–  You are a great traveler, you sleep well in the car, and don’t mind going out and about!  You have even been to a couple of restaurants, and if you are awake, you just look at everything going on around you!
–  You are very observant, your eyes are constantly moving when you are awake.  You love staring at ceiling fans, pictures, and blinds.
–  You recognize voices!  When your Daddy walks in the door after work, he starts talking, and before you can see him your eyes are darting in the direction of his voice.  When you are fussy, your Daddy or I can talk to you from a different room and it calms you down a little.
–  You have incredible neck strength.  You will hold your head up for minutes at a time.  Your neck barely even wobbles anymore!
–  You are beginning to smile, which just lights up my day!  Your sparkly blue eyes, little dimples, and big grin, can easily make my day!
Your Daddy and I are loving watching you grow, you are changing every single day!  We can’t wait to see what the next month holds! We took a family picture on Saturday before going to the Bartlett Festival and to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the game.  Here is our happy family…

Wyatt is adorable. I think he resembles his daddy.

Great shot of the family of 3.
